If you are planning on applying for insurance reimbursement, I encourage you to contact your insurance carrier to find out about your benefits. While not all plans will reimburse for my services, many will. When you call your insurance carrier, it may be helpful to have my National Provider ID (1861774705) available. Some questions you may wish to ask:
- Does my plan cover out-of network mental health services?
- Are there any restrictions on provider type, or on the type of services covered?
- What is the usual and customary rate ("allowed amount") covered for psychotherapy services?
- How much is my deductible and co-insurance?
- Do I need a referral or pre-authorization?
Cancellation Policy:
48-hour notice is required for rescheduling or cancellation. Missed appointments that are not cancelled at least 48 hours in advance will be charged at the full fee for the scheduled session. Missed session fees are not covered by insurance.
